W/c 14th November – Bear Hunt

  • Dark den: Investigate shadows with torches
  • Read Bear Hunt with Rhythmic knee patting
  • Put coats and shoes on independently
  • Make binoculars using coloured cellophane and investigate colour mixing
  • Order the story
  • Children re-enact the story using props
  • Make a Bear mask
  • Watch about different bears and their habitats

  • Make a Scarecrow in large group
  • Autumn themed songs: Dingle dangle Scarecrow, Autumn Leaves are falling
  • Print vegetable pictures, look at colours
